(…) Error comes from man and is inside man. Man does not err because external factors push him to do so, but because he has granted the right to error to infiltrate him. (…)
(…) Error has led man to the fall, creating his ‘ego’, prompting him to see opposition in everything, and not attraction and unification. The ‘ego’ and error are directly connected and serve one another. The ‘ego’ is nourished by error, and also permits it to exist. The ‘ego’ detaches man from the Divine Mind and constructs the intellect from material elements. The first error, that is, creates the ‘ego’, and this in its turn creates the intellect, which perpetuates error.
The intellect is the centre from which all the thoughts of earthly man start out and direct him. It is powerful and provides him with all the features which will facilitate him and will more rapidly attach him to matter. The thoughts which come from it are low in vibrations. (…)
(...) Man must discern the initial cause of error, which is being cut off from the Divine Mind. God sends forth the Absolute and the Perfect. As long as man was in contact with Him, he received Absolute, Perfect, Divine Ideas. As soon as he departed from Him, he ceased to be attuned to Him and was led into error. And so, in order for the initial cause to be eliminated and for man to be reinstated in the Truth, he must be reconnected with God.(...)
