INTERNATIONAL CENTRE
FOR INNER CHRISTIANITY
The INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR INNER CHRISTIANITY (DI.KE.X. in Greek) is a recognised union, according to Greek legislation, non-profit, founded by Master John (whose name in the world was Dionysis Dorizas). It was founded in 1992 and is a continuation of the HELLENIC CENTRE FOR INNER CHRISTIANITY (EL.K.E.X. in Greek), which was founded by him in 1981.
The head office of DI.K.E.X. is in Athens, Greece, and its administration and management are exercised by the Board of Directors (BoD), consisting of five (5) full and three (3) alternate members. The members of the BoD are elected by vote, in elections which are held every three (3) years by convening a General Assembly.
DI.K.E.X. is directly interwoven with the Divine Work as it was presented and demonstrated by Master John, and it constitutes an organised body - spiritual brotherhood whose purpose is to facilitate the manifestation of the Work within social reality.
It aims to reveal a new way of cooperation and communication between people, a way which will be founded upon Love, Unity, and the Divine Truth. Also, it aims at revealing a new organising structure, based on acceptance, experience, and implementation of the Divine Teaching which will liberate Man from limitations, opposition, and tendencies of domination and power, and will shape the first principles of a new society of love and spirituality in the whole of humanity and in every aspect of everyday life.
Its members are adults, Christian men and women who are, above all, disciples of the Divine Work and they wish to participate, consciously and responsibly, in the selfless work of Love and Unity, offering their services and contributing by their example to the Christification and the Theosis of Man or, in other words, to the return to the Father God through the Logos-Christ.
Therefore, the members’ registration to the Union is not a typical act of joining a group of people, but a conscious act of taking responsibility before God and Man.
OBJECTIVES OF THE UNION
The purposes of DI.K.E.X. described in Article 4 of its Statute and are as follows:
A. The spread of Christian ideals.
B. The spiritual development of the Gospels teachings. That is, their conceptual, semantic, inspirational and inner, in general, development and the explanation of the Divine Laws function through them.
C. The publication of magazines, books and any kind of printed matter that will serve the purposes and principles of the Union. The promotion and distribution of the books, both in Greece and abroad, without the slightest speculation of the Union. The creation of a library and lounges, the establishment of several committees and, in general, workgroups of research on various subjects relating the purpose of the Union. The organisation of talks, lectures, training seminars and educational gatherings, exhibitions, meetings, concerts, production and projection of films, telefilms etc. The organisation of record productions, theatrical performances, the creation of radio or television stations, and generally the use of every means of communication and promotion that exists or will exist, as well as every other spiritual manifestation and activity which contributes to the elevation and evolution of man regardless of social class, level of education, nationality or any other singularity.
D. The ethical, religious and spiritual evolution of the Union’s members and the strengthening of fraternal relations between them through the bonds of love and support.
ACTIVITIES OF DI.K.E.X.
Since the foundation of the spiritual brotherhood-union until today, the International Centre for Inner Christianity has operated to fulfill its destination, as it was clearly described and also demonstrated by its founder, Master John. During the years and the changes which came to be, both external and internal, the Union with the constant, selfless efforts of its Directors, of its members, and with the contribution of other collaborators has tried to serve the spiritual Work in many ways and activities. Amongst them, which have been accomplished or are currently being carried out, are the maintenance of a venue, where the spiritual gatherings take place, the organisation of lectures on the development of spiritual topics, the organisation of honorary events, the editing, publication, and republication of the Work’s books, the translation of said books to English, the organisation of a digital archive of teachings (written, audio and videotaped) and the creation of a website.
Lastly, the Union expresses its gratitude to all those who have contributed, one way or another, to its task throughout the years of its operation.
Also, the Union summons those who recognise its contribution to the evolution of man — which is what the Work accomplishes — so that they themselves contribute creatively, within their own capabilities, to the achievement of its goals.
